Woodfuel in the designated landscapes

Yorwoods are currently working with the National Parks (Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors) and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (Nidderdale and Howardian Hill), within North Yorkshire to develop the biomass sector.  Through the project we can offer free and impartial advice on the following elements:

• initial feasibility of wood fuel heating
• assistance/development of the supply chain
• training on the supply chain
• funding assistance for boiler installation and developing the supply chain
• bringing woodlands back into management
